Nomad Maverick Casting Lure

Call it what you want, the unique action drives fish crazy, and it can be worked in a variety of ways, fast, slow, cast or trolled, the Maverick has a truly unique action not replicated by any other lure. It was originally designed by Damon Olsen to imitate wounded baitfish at very slow speeds on calm days, with the objective of being easy to work.

A combination of rolling and wiggling action and subtle surface splashes combined with the underwater bubble trail was the idea behind the design. Sometimes when it is either very calm or the fish are just lazy and lethargic, you need a lure that just makes the fish eat, and the Maverick is it.

The Maverick was also designed to be super easy to use. If you are an experienced angler you will make this lure do things that will get you very excited, but even first time blue water casting anglers are going to catch fish with this lure just by moving the rod tip. It is a true all-rounder.
